In support of National Volunteer Week, Chirnside Park Shopping Centre recognised local community members who volunteer their time with the Chirnside Park Shopping Centre Volunteer Recognition Awards.

In early May, customers had the opportunity to nominate a local volunteer who makes a valuable contribution to the community. We received a number of applications for volunteers working in the areas of care and welfare, sport, schools and other community fields.

Congratulations to our three most outstanding nominees:

• Jesse Farrelly - Interchange Outer East
• Joan Haworth - The Salvation Army Mooroolbark

The three most outstanding nominees received a $200 GPT Gift Card and GPT is donating $200 to their volunteer organisations.
